Sports Massage Therapy Charity & Event Work

Terry has supported a number of Charities in the UK over the years including local and national Charities in varying capacities. He has previously worked alongside other massage therapists at charitable sporting events such as, the Oxford Town and Gown (in aid of Muscular Dystrophy), the Cutteslowe Canter (in aid of Parkinson's Disease), the Chiltern Chase (in aid of local charities). More recently Terry supported the Reading Relay for Life (in aid of Cancer Research) and the Thames 10k (in aid of Breast Cancer), Other events have included the Goring Gap 10k (in aid of the local school), the Reading half marathon (in aid of the Fire Fighter's Charity) and the Police National Cross Country Championships (in aid of the CHASE charity). To date, Terry has never charged for his time to provide sports massage services at a charitable events, meaning that all money raised goes to the charity. Terry has also signed up to the Sports Massage Association's (SMA's) Road2Success Athlete Sponsorship Programme. This is designed to help unfunded/unsponsored Athletes who are training for Olympic type events.
